Area Eh Mn/DOT and Wis/DOT have an upcomin project in the area called the St. Croix River Crossin Project. A construction start date in the fall of 2013 has been established ror the project. Alon with work in Wisconsin and a new river crossin the construction for the St. Croix River. Crossin Project Includes a new intersection at TVI 36 and Oa k le Avenues, with the fronta roads "pulled back" awa from TH 36. Attached is the preferred alternative for the area around Oak Avenues, showin the reconstruction. The Cit has expressed 'Interest in the past for widenin Oak Avenue such that a divided four lane roadwa section is provided between TH 36 and 58th Street North. Allowances for this potential future widenin of Oak Avenue should be accommodated from a ri perspective.
