In my correspondence, I noted that there is an exception within the Zoning Ordinance relative to architectural/historical light fixtures, which must be considered and approved by the City Council through the City's Variance process. You were requested to remove or replace the fixtures no later than February 20, 2009. While it has been noted that most of the fixtures have been turned off, they have not bee removed. All of the non - compliant fixtures must not be illuminated, including those at the entry. You are encouraged to replace the fixtures with ones that meet compliance. If you elect to leave the non - compliant fixtures in place they must not be illuminated at any time. To avoid accidental lighting of these fixtures, you may wish to remove the bulbs from the fixtures. Please be forewarned that if they are found illuminated you will be cited for violation of City Ordinance requirements without any further warning. Please feel free to contact me with any questions you may have. Sincerely, J- A. Hultman g & Code Enforcement Officer pc: Eric Johnson, City Administrator Brian DeRosier, Chief of Police Property File
