Re: Off - Street Parking Replacement: Greenbrier Apartments — 14843 -14840 60 St. N.
Dear Mr. Skogen:
Pursuant to your conversation with City Administrator Eric Johnson and the off - street parking area
replacement work at Greenbrier Apartments please find enclosed City Ordinance Section 401.15.F. as
it relates to Off - Street Parking and Loading.
You will see that Section 401.1.5.F.4.h.13 under General Provisions requires that plans for surfacing
and drainage of driveways and stalls for five (5) or more vehicles be submitted to the City Engineer for
review and approval.
Also, Section 401.15.F.4.h.17 requires a continuous concrete perimeter curb barrier around the entire
parking lot, no closer than ten (10) feet to any property line.
As a result of the project underway at the apartment complex being a full replacement versus a
resurfacing, the parking area is required to be brought into conformance with City Ordinance
requirements.
Please review the information as to the requirements for off -site parking areas and provide the City
with a permit application, plans and other related information so that compliance to off - street parking
requirements can be determined.
All work to the parking area is to stop until such time the City has received all necessary information
and has been able to determine City Ordinance Compliance.
