Oak Park Heights, MN 55082 Re: Off - Street Parking Replacement: Greenbrier Apartments —14843 -14848 60 St. N. Dear Mr. Skogen: In response to your call yesterday afternoon, please be reminded that it is due to the parking area project being a full replacement versus a resurfacing; the parking area is required to be brought into conformance with City Ordinance requirements. Accordingly, the installation of continuous concrete curbing is not optional and is required as directed by City Ordinance Section 401.15.F.4.h.17. Be reminded that plans for the parking area surfacing and drainage are to be submitted for City Engineer review and approval. We discussed this on November 6, 2009, at which time you indicated you would get the plan prepared by your contractor and route it to City Hall. Additionally, Middle St. Croix Water Management Organization,(MSCWMO) requirements are to be addressed. To this end, I emailed you the information received from Amy Carolan of the MSCWMO. I appreciate the situation of timing and rest assured the City will work with you and your client to facilitate a reasonable resolution; however ordinance regulated criteria are not optional and to date the City has received no new information, document or drawings from you nor has the City provided any permissions for you to continue. Work to the parking area shall remain stopped until such time the City has received all necessary information and has been able to determine City Ordinance Compliance and compliance with the MSCWMO rules. Sincerely, Of Itman PI ng & Code Enforcement Officer pc: Jim Butler, Building Official Eric Johnson, City Administrator Mark Vierling, City Attorney Chris Long, City Engineer Amy Carolyn, MSCWMO
