RE: Outstanding Utility Bill for Greenbrier Apartments
LaVonne:
This payment is being made under protest as the issues relating
to it have not been resolved in spite of our attorney being told
that a rebate of grossly excess charges for the trash services
levied the last half of 1993 would be forthcoming.
According to the attorney, it was his understanding an adjustment
was to be made either by the City of Oak Park Heights or Junker
Sanitation. This has not been done as of this date for either
Greenbrier or Oak Park Heights Apartments. Consequently, the
disputed amount of approximately $1,700.00 plus 9% simple
interest, for a total of $1,853.00 is enclosed.
This total amount is protested as well as the demands that
Greenbrier expend upwards of $1,000.00 to expand the trash area
to accommodate the inefficient use of separate containers (as
noted in several previous letters to Mayor O'Neil).
All concerned parties expect to hear about the rebate of these
excess charges on a timely basis.
Respectfully,
Robert Grieling
