Please complete one of the applications and fax it back to me for the "Now Hiring" or "Help Wanted" banner that is hanging up front of your store presently. Special event signage /displays are permitted for 30 days each calendar year for no longer than 10 day periods for each. The 30 day time period may not run consecutively. Please refer to (b) on the first page of 401.15.G.8 Special Events for additional information on time allowance and permitted types of signs and displays. In early October the City will be mailing, to each business contact or manager, information about temporary special event signage and displays, please be sure to review it and contact me with thoughts or questions regarding the information as well as any time you may have a question or need for a special event permit. Please return the completed application to me for approval. There is no charge for this permit. Upon receipt back I will finalize and return to you via fax. If I have not received a completed permit application back by noon day Friday, September 28, 2007, I will expect the banner to be removed before noon. Please ensure that your banner is hung tightly across the store front.
