The current approval status of the projects is also highlighted. oakgreen Village Tim Nolde, representing Anchobaypro and Valley Senior Services Alliance (VSSA) made an application for a PUD general plan approval for the area west of oakgreen Avenue and north of 58 Street. The area under application consisted of approximately 11 acres and encompassed a significant portion of what was the Central Business District. The city Council approved a PUD general plan on March 9, 2004 for this area. A revised concept plan was submitted in 2005 but the application was withdrawn before the City council reviewed the plan. Concept plans were again submitted in 2006 by Anchobaypro. The City council approved the concept plan at their April 11, 2006 meeting. A general plan application was submitted in April 2006 for Phase 1 of the total development plan which included a total of 67 townhome units. The second phase would have included an additional 46 townhome units. The general plan for the 67 units was approved on May 23, 2006. In 2007, John and Corey Arkell, representing Nova Scotia Villas, received approval to construct a different design for 31 of the 67 units. The city council approved that amendment on August 14, 2007. In December 2007, an application for a PUD amendment for Phase 1 and a concept and general plan approval for Phase 2 of the oakgreen Village development west of oakgreen Avenue and north of 58 Street was filed. The area under application consisted of Phase 1 that has been previously approved for PUD general plan and Phase 2, and area that previously was just approved for PUD concept. The plan was reviewed in December 2007 and a public hearing was opened at the January 17, 2008 Planning commission meeting. The applicant requested the public hearing be continued in that he had alternative plans for the Phase 2 area. on May 27, 2008, the city Council approved a PUD amendment for Phase 1, and a concept and general plan for Phase 2. With the approved layout, a maximum of 90 units with 65 in the first phase and 25 in the second was approved. An application for a PUD amendment for Phase 1 of the oakgreen Village was filed in July 2008. The area under that application consistent of a portion of Phase 1, north of the pond that was originally approved for 15 attached townhome units in three buildings. The application proposed one three unit building and two, two unit buildings for a total of seven dwellings. The City council approved this amendment at their meeting on August 26, 2008. With this approval, the total number of approved units in Phase 1 is 57. This is the current status of approvals for oakgreen Village. A plan that indicates the current approved layout is found in Exhibit A. Carriage House Cooperative A PUD concept plan approval application for two 48 unit senior cooperative rental buildings, referred to as the Carriage House cooperative, was filed in July 2008. The project was to be constructed in two phases and is located near the intersection of 58 Street North and oakgreen Avenue. The city council approved the PUD concept plan at their August 26, 2009 meeting. The approved concept plan layout for this project is found in Exhibit A. In October 2008, the applicant submitted a PUD general plan request to allow the construction of the first phase of the Carriage House cooperative.. The applicant withdrew this request prior to the Planning commission public hearing. Conclusion The current status of the oakgreen Village /Carriage House cooperative projects is as follows: oakgreen Village is currently approved with a PUD general plan for a total of 57 units. The carriage House cooperative is currently approved with a PUD concept plan for two 48 unit cooperative rental unit buildings. rN / '
