You have the article indicating this information came from the Oak Park Heights Police Department which it did not. This information came directly from the store not from the Oak Park Heights Police Department. No one from the Oak Park Heights Police Department has contacted you on this incident or provided the information. I do appreciate your support of the Police Department in your efforts posting information when we request; however in this incident we have not requested the information posted in this manner implicating the person in a crime. I caution you on publishing information and photograph's implicating someone in a crime when you are indicating the information came from the Oak Park Heights Police Department when it did not. If you are going to keep this information on your web site or printed in the paper it needs to be made very clear this is not from the Oak Park Heights Police Department. The Oak Park Heights Police Department did not submit this information and is not implicating anyone in a crime at this time as you have said in the article. We do have an investigation for a reported possible shoplifting incident at Oaks Wine Spirits, but the photograph and information they provided is by the merchant at their own liability and not at the request of the police department. If that is what the merchant wants and it is clear they are the ones providing the information in that manner in the article that is their choice.
