1 have reviewed the plans for the proposed addition to Hall Chiropractic on 60th St. at Oakgreen Ave.. The plans dated
11/10/11 include a page "A3" which shows trees around the new parking lot; however, the plans submitted 2/9/12
( "A3" dated 11/10/11) do not show any trees on page "A3 ". Green space is indicated on all sides of the building, but
there is no information as to what makes up the green space. I have visited the site and there is need for more
landscaping, especially for screening for the townhomes on the S side and there is also room for trees on the E side. I
recommend the use of "Black Hills" white spruce on the south side, to provide year -round screening of the parking lot
from the townhomes, and small stature ornamental trees on the E side to provide more interest. More landscaping
around the building, such as foundation shrubs and hardy perennials, would improve the look of the site. A landscape
plan, Plant List, and Planting Detail should be provided for this project.
