We have reviewed the changes to the north pond in the Oakgreen Village development as
submitted by Folz, Freeman, Erickson, Inc.(FFE) on October 26, 2006. The pond size was
increased to provide additional storage capacity for the drainage area from the Sigstad Carpet
property.
The HydroCAD computer model shows that the enlarged pond has the capacity to handle the 100
year storm event with the additional area routed to the pond. The outlet for the pond has been
restricted to an 8" orifice. We have been in contact with Todd Erickson, FFE, and have requested
that this restriction be a stainless steel plate with an 8" opening that is bolted over the 12" RCP
outlet pipe in the manhole.
