Except as noted below, the construction documents submitted for the project described above
have been reviewed and found to be in substantial compliance with requirements of the
Minnesota State Building Code. The building permit may now be issued.
AUTHORIZATION CONDITIONS
1. Provide revised mechanical drawings that correspond with the new code analysis for
smoke partitions in accordance with IBC 710.
2. Submit fire alarm shop drawings to this division for review.
3. Low voltage /special locking devices must be submitted to this division for review prior to
installation.
4. Metal Fabrication must be by an approved fabricator or included in the special
inspections testing agreement.
In addition to the required inspections and prior to the issuance of a Certificate of Occupancy, the
Contract Inspector shall verify that the following applicable agencies have approved work under
their jurisdiction: the State Department of Health for compliance with provisions of the
Minnesota Plumbing Code, the State Board of Electricity for compliance with the State Electrical
Code, the Elevator Safety Section for approval of elevators and related devices, and the local
municipality for other requirements as authorized by law.
