Re: Service Bay Door Closure
Dear Mr. Triemert:
Please be reminded of the Conditional Use Permit requirement to your business site that was granted to
Lodge Properties LLC for auto repair use at 14621 60 St. N. stipulates that "all automobile repair activities
shall be limited to within the principal structure and the doors to the service bays shall be kept closed except
when vehicles are being moved in or out of the service areas." A full and complete copy of the Conditional
Use Permit was provided to you with my letter of July 13, 2010. If you desire another copy, please let me
know.
The service bay doors were observed open today and in violation of the C.U.P. provisions for the business
operation. This letter directs that you maintain compliance to the C.U.P. provisions, including the provision of
keeping the service bay doors closed at all times, other than when a vehicle is being move inside or out of the
service area.
Your immediate compliance is requested to close and continue to keep closed the service bay doors, other
than such time a vehicle is being moved in or out of the service bay. This provision is part of the terms of the
conditional use permit issued for the automotive business operations. Failure to adhere to the provisions of
the conditional use permit may result in its revocation and /or misdemeanor citation for violation of Oak Park
Heights City Ordinances related to the conditional use permit. -
Additionally, you are directed to police the business exterior and parking area to ensure that no exterior
storage of parts or inoperable vehicles is occurring at the business site. All storage is to be to the interior of
the business. The parking area is not be used for storage of vehicles and /or equipment that is not being
serviced by your business.
Thank you for your prompt attention in communicating the appropriate C.U.P. provisions to your staff and
immediate compliance with the closure of service bay doors. Contact me anytime.
