Oak Park Heights Police incident # 12703687. 1 am making a determination under City Ordinance 601 that your dog is classified as Potentially Dangerous Dogs. You have been ordered to quarantine the dog for a period of 10 days as instructed by the officer at the time of the incident investigation. The dog cannot be out of your residence or a secure kennel unless muzzled and leashed during this time. After this period of quarantine the animal must remain in your control on leash and muzzled at all times when not in your residence, secured kennel, or fenced private property. Refusal to comply with these restrictions will result in full enforcement of ordinance 601.14 to include removal or destruction of the dog. If any future violations occur including aggressive behavior or biting of persons or domestic animals you may be required to remove the animal from the City of Oak Park Heights in conformance with ordinance 601.14 or destruction of the animal. This determination specifically prohibits any person to own, keep, possess, or harbor any dog within the City of Oak Park Heights that is a dangerous or potentially dangerous dog. Minnesota state statute also regulates dangerous and potentially dangerous dogs specifically under MSS Chapter 347. These regulations can include registration or up to destruction of the dogs.
