Nei concerns of the River Hills area residents.
I On the plan sheet the units on the south side of 58"' St. have not been
identified b t Are these own units? What is the desi What is the
s foota of the unit, sin stor two-stor etc?
2. We endorse the 150' linear park, but would like to see it expanded to include
the entire parcel south of 58"' St.. What t of path will be placed in the
linear park? Where will it be located in relationship to the existin homes?
We would like to see a minimal number of tress removed to facilitate the
installation of the path.
3. In the first informational meetin held several months a the former cit
administrator voiced concern over the number of accesses onto 58"' St., we
also q uestion this concept of 5 accesses in this limited space. The new
proposal would add four to the existin access on the Junker propert
4. If units were to be built-, on the south side of 581h, we would like to see the
number reduced to 6-8, and landscapin desi with lar pine trees to
block our existin homes from the headli beams.
5. Will we also see variances for hei and set backs on these units? This is
especiall true of the apartment units north of 581h. With a hei limit of 37'
a three-stor buildin will not meet those standards. We feel a two-stor
desi would better fit this propert
6. On the north side of 58"' a lar number of mature trees will be removed
durin the construction phase. When and where will the trees are planted to
replace what is destro The wildlife, we now en will be displaced and
will never return.
7. Where will the surface water drain? Will we be creatin another "pond"
problem such as "Autumn Rid or the west end of River Hills-56th ST. N.
A total of 262 units are proposed for these parcels. With 500 additional
vehicles on our streets., when will Oak be up to handle this traffic?
Who will pa for it? Have the developer discussed the impact these units will
have on our schools?
9. Would it not be prudent to extend the public street on the west side of the
development throu to 60t" St. now? If not it will be a matter of time before
one of our children or us and i or killed on 58"' St. the speed limit
should also be reduced to 30 MPH on 58t".
