Plant material is of good quality and looked in good condition at the time of inspection. The spruce on the slope at the back of the parking lot looked dry. They could use more mulch and should have direct supplemental watering, via a root feeder, to get water into the root ball. 2. Plant material matched the plan and plant schedule, but locations and species were sometimes different than on the original plan. Changes were minor and did not affect the appearance or function of the landscape, so they are acceptable. 3. Two more arborvitae ( "Techny" type) should be planted in front of the mechanicals on the west side of the building. This area needs more screening. Please contact me if you have any questions regarding this inspection or report. Please forward this report to the developer. Kathy Widin Arborist City of Oak Park Heights 1
