Oak Park Heights, MN 55082 Re: Deck Construction /Work Hi Rene'e ^' I was in your neighborhood yesterday and noticed that you appear to have had some work done to the patio -deck to the west of your house. There was also quite a bit of construction material sitting curbside for refuse collection. Please be reminded that City Ordinance does require that a permit be issued for such work and that inspections as regulated by the adoption of the 2006 International Residential Code, as amended by the 2007 Minnesota State Building Code be made. I do not find a permit application on file for patio /deck work at your residence. Please be advised that contractors providing services to residential properties are required to have a Minnesota State Contractor license for the services they perform. A homeowner may pull a permit for work they do to a residential home that they occupy. If work has in fact occurred to your patio -deck, kindly complete the enclosed permit application immediately for the work being done at your home and return it to me, with a plan and /or description of work done and materials used. You may fax, mail or email your applications and accompanying documentation Your prompt attention is appreciated. I welcome you to contact me immediately with any questions you may have. Sincerely, Juli ultman, C.B.O. Pla Ding & Code Enforcement Enclosure
