These applications include proposals for the construction of townhomes, "villas", and apartments in the area west of Oak Avenue and north and south of 58th Street. Since these applications are of a lar size, and are proposed to be near y our properties, I thou it mi be helpful to provide y ou with additional information re these applications and a g eneral overview the review process the Cit will undertake. At this time, the applicants are re Conditional Use Permit and Planned Unit Development: Concept Plan approval. Concept Plan approval is the first sta the applicant must appl for in a Planned Unit Development. A public hearin will be held at the Cit Plannin Commission be March 14, 2002, and public comment is welcome and encoura Followin the Plannin Commission's recommendation to the Cit Council, the Cit Council will take final action on the re The Plannin Commission will open the public hearin for these applications at their meetin of March 14, 2002. The meetin be at 7:00 PI I. This is the opportunit to address y our concerns directl to the Cit If y ou are not able to attend the meetin and/or would like to have written comments provided to the Plannin Commission, please submit y our comments to m office in advance of the meetin Your written comments are welcome at an time durin the review process. If the Concept Plan is approved, the applicant must then appl to the Cit for "General Plan" approval. At the General Plan sta the applicant provides much g reater plan detail for the proposed project. The review of the General Plan will then be a at the Cit Plannin Commission. Public hearin notifications will be mailed for these applications, if and when the are received.
