To Whom It May Concern:
Per my conversations with Dave Triemert of Central Automotive and the offices of Amtech Lighting, it
is my understanding that your company will be installing new sign faces upon the pylon sign at 14621
60 St. N., Oak Park Heights for Mr. Triemert's business.
Please be advised that Oak Park Heights City Ordinance requires sign installers to obtain a local
contractors license to perform sign installation services within the city limits. Until such time I have a
contractor license issued, I am unable to issue the permit for the sign installation and it shall not be
installed.
I have enclosed a contractor license application for your convenience. Kindly complete the same and
return it to my attention, with the required Certificate of Insurance and license feel. In addition to the
license fee, I will also need to receive the permit fee of $50.00. Both fees may be included within one
check.
I appreciate your immediate attention to this request and ask that compliance be made no later than
December 20, 2008. If upon December 20 I have not received compliance to the above request and
have not issued a contractor license and the permit, the permit will be returned and a new permit
application and drawing required prior to the sign being installed.
Please note that should the sign be installed without a permit, it is a violation of City Ordinance and
may be treated as a misdemeanor offense. Please contact me if you have any questions regarding this
request.
