• A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE INSTALLATION OF A NO PARKING ARE ALONG
NORWICH PARKWAY AT THE SOUTHERN (MAIN) ENTRANCE TO BOUTWELLS
LANDING
Whereas, the management of Boutwell's Landing has requested that the City install NO PARKING area
to east and west of the southerly entrance to the Boutwell's Landing main building located at 5600
Norwich Parkway; and,

Whereas, the need for this NO PARKING area is requested by Boutwell's Landing staff due to
problematic turning movements associated with persons parking on the adjacent street and typically too
close to the entranceway to allow for proper visibility and ingress and egress turning movements, and;
Whereas, the City Council for the City of Oak Park Heights does agree that the installation of a NO
PARKING area in this vicinity does meet reasonable public safety purposes.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT NOW RESOLVED that the City Council for the City of Oak Park Heights
does hereby authorize the installation of a NO PARKING area(s) at the southern entrance of the
Boutwell's Landing facility located at 5600 Norwich Parkway.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the NO PARKING area shall extend 110' both eastwardly and
westwardly from the mid -point of such southern entrance on the north side of Norwich parkway; and
shall also be installed along the south side of Norwich Parkway for a total distance of 40' both eastwardly
• and westwardly from such mid -point of the southern entrance.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the installation shall only include the installation of signage to
determine effectiveness, with curb painting to be installed in the future if needed as determined by City
staff.
