Re: Temporary Signage
To Whom It May Concern:
I am writing in reference to the matter of temporary/advertisement signage at the
Stillwater Ford dealership at 12969 60 St. N., in Oak Park Heights. I called the
dealership today and requested that the temporary, portable advertisement sign placed
at your Neal Ave. N. driveway be removed immediately. At the time of observation, the
sign was advertising the hours of Quick Lane effective July 8th
Since August of last year, I have had conversation with various people regarding
temporary signage placed without a permit and in violation of Oak Park Heights City
Ordinance.
With this letter, I am once again, providing the dealership with a copy of Oak Park
Heights sign ordinance relative temporary signs. I am also enclosing a copy of the
temporary permit application.
Additionally, I request that you call, write or email me and provide me with the name(s),
contact number(s) and /or email(s) of the person or people responsible for the
placement of temporary and advertisement signs at this dealership. If you have more
than one individual responsible for this, please be sure that they all have my contact
information and a copy of the information I have enclosed.
In the matters of temporary signage please no new signage or advertisement device is
to be put in place without City approval. This includes, but is not limited to, window
signage (including painted window display). The enclosed permit should be provided to
me for approval prior to installation of any device, sign or painted advertisement. Failure
to comply with the City Zoning Ordinance is considered a misdemeanor offence and may
be treated accordingly.
If you have questions, please call or email me. I look forward to working with you on
Stillwater Fords temporary sign matters.
Sincerely,
Juli A. Hultman
