As per our conversation, I had assembled some information to this end and am enclosing it for your review and use. Please find enclosed the following items: 1. Permit 1686 issued in 1980 for the house structure that indicates the size of the lot and structure at that time; 2. A section of the Plat Map (as of 9 -15 -1988) showing your property, highlighted and the adjacent properties, and the lot dimensions as of 9 -15 -1988; 3. A Fence Permit Handout, including Memorandum of Acknowledgment Form; and 4. City Ordinance 401.1.5.E. related to Fencing, Screening and Landscaping. Review the information carefully as it does set forth the criteria for fence placement and the establishment and verification of property lines for setback measurement. Because the property is a rental property, a licensed contractor is required to pull the permit and provide the work to the unit.
