Johnson (E- mail)' Subject: RE: Oakgreen Townhomes (Hom4Me) I received word from Mitch Johnson at FOR that MnDOT has approved us for a permit. The permit was mailed to Mitch. I have received a fax approval from Buck Craig at MnDOT. I can forward onto whomever requests it. The Permit # is M -D -02 -0671. I have also left a message with Bob Fossum with Middle St. Croix looking to get their comments. I'm not sure how long it will take to get their comments back. Thanks. Jason C. These plans satisfactorily address the 4 issues noted below, and we recommend approval of the plans at this time. The only other engineering - related issues still outstanding are MnDOT's review /approval of the drainage calculations and whether or not the Middle St. Croix Water Management organization has any comments relative to this development. Johnson (E- mail); Jason Myrlie (E -mail) > Subject: Oakgreen Townhomes (Hom4Me) • Eric: • We've reviewed the latest revised final plans and have the following • comments: * 1. The erosion control plan (or grading and storm sewer plan) * requires an adequate amount of rip rap or other acceptable erosion * control material from the concrete swale spillway to the bottom of the • ditch. It appears existing sanitary sewer MH -2 is roughly in this • location (the line fonts used on the plans didn't copy very well, so • it's difficult to determine the exact location). Another option would * be to install a catch basin in the proposed driveway curb return * directly over the proposed 18" RCP culvert and tie the concrete swale * into this (eliminating the spillway). * 2. Proposed grades between Units 7 and 8 are quite flat and may * result in storm water ponding in the courtyard area or against * buildings. This area should be reanalyzed. • 3. The proposed garage floor elevations of Units 1 - 5 are anywhere • from 1" - 6" above the concrete valley gutter in the parking area • (approximately 25' away). There should be a minimum of 12" of • clearance between these items. > 4. Sanitary Sewer MH -2 still requires a water -tight casting > specified. • Dennis M.
