Subject: Oak Park Senior Living III Landscape Plan

OPH Staff -
I have reviewed the proposed landscape plan for Oak Park Senior Living 111 and my comments follow:
1. The plan is attractive and will complement the building design as well as serve other functions such as screening of
exterior mechanical units in the back of the building.
2. The plant material is hardy and will survive well in our area. The plant types chosen are diverse, will be easy to
maintain, and have a low incidence of serious insect and disease problems.
3. The plant sizes meet the zoning ordinance requirements.
4. Planting Detail - this shows how the trees and shrubs are to be planted and is not included with the landscape plan.
This is required and should be provided before final approval. For B &B stock, the burlap and twine should be removed
from the base of the trunk and top of the root ball, and the top two rungs and handles of the wire basket (if
used) should be cut and removed from the root ball.
5. Legend error - The description for the largest plant symbol for deciduous trees should read "3" inch diameter instead
of "2" inch.
Please contact me if you have any questions regarding this plan review or report. Please forward these comments to the
developer.
