Various Develop nn ent / Zoninq items:
AS anticipated the Cit has received two applications; to site a Goodwill Store near Lowes
and a si variance re for Buffalo Wild Win Menards will apparentl be
submittin a re in Nov to update their g arden center g ara g e doors/ access.
The Cit has received notice re the annexation of certain parcels from Ba
Township into the Cit of Ba See Enclosed notice. I have not y et been able to
determine which parcels, but I have asked Ba to provide a map and will have it next
week.
The Cit has noticed the 1-10m4me development that the must complete their second la
of asphalt. I did receive a written response ( from WARE Propert Mana that is
g enerall y not acceptable as I have asked them to specif a completion date. Staff will be
workin for a June completion.
I have released the lar ma of the letter of credit (LOC) for the FOX HOLLOW
development as the have onl a few items remainin to complete. Jim Butler has g iven a
CO ( Certificate of Occupanc on the condominium buildin and onl a few item remain on
the site and at the office buildin The enclosed letter is the t fashion in how the Cit
releases its LOCs or portions of them.
Chris Lon from Bonestroo, has provided a brief project update on the developments
around the Cit
STH 36 Reconstruction / St. Croix River Cros
The Cit Attorne has informed me that MnDOT was 'served I on Wed.
I have had a short discussion with Nick Thompson of MNDOT after he provided me an
updated cost table for the pro It appears that MNDOT has a to make a cost
exception for all storm water related work. The Cit cost share now, at least based on the
enclosed table is $309,050. For y our readin pleasure, I have LARGE copies of this chart
here at Cit Hall.
New Cit Accountant Position.
The Cit has extended the recruitment deadline throu Oct 25th in an effort to secure
additional applications. The enclosed shortened advertisement has now been placed in the
Pioneer Press. We attempted to avoid this due to the cost of this venue, ($580.00) but
based on limited response we have decided to move forward. At the 10/24 Cit Council
