Sounds g ood Jim,
The Plat should be filed with the Count I think I recall si it,.
If those fire places were approved prior to Horn4me, then there must be some documentation somewhere.

Subject: Hom 4 Me
Eric,
Yesterda mornin I had a meetin with the Hom 4 Me representatives, includin Jason M (General Mana
Fred Nieber and JohnCouillard, from Superior Contractors, LI-C., and Julie Hultman. At this time I have informed
them that there is a stop work order on the project until the followin issues are addressed and a resolution to the
problems can be obtained.
1) The b0din constructed on lots 8 & 9 extend one foot be the south line of the buildin pads. The did
reduce the buildin size b a foot, but did not make the chan on this structure, nor did the submit to me a new set
of drawin
I have asked for two new sets of drawin
2) The brick fireplaces have been desi with foundation footin which also g o 2 foot 4 inches outside the
buildin pads. The did comment that these were approved with the Renton pro and the Cit re
the brick. Please note that all of these units have fireplaces, but some are cantilevered. We need to discuss
these at Staff.
3) In addition, the individual units trash enclosures extend 3' 8" be the buildin pads and are supported with post
footin and the roof structures attached to the main buildin structure. The are askin that I clarif that these
and cantilever fire places are permitted. 401.15,C.e. 1 addresses this issue, but we do need to clarif the
interpretation this section. As desi these fireplaces still extend 4 inches farther and are in violation. M
q uestion is that this section refers to encroachments into the re y ard, but in this situation it g oes be
the buildin pad and extends into the common area. This is also true of the soffit over han
4) Does an know where the si plat ma be
Prior to staff I would appreciate staff to come forth with an ideas or steps needed to resolve this problem,
Thanks,
Jim
