WEEKLY NOTES...1/23/04
1. Various Development Items:
The S&C Bank has applied for a PUD amendment to allow an internal separation of their
building. This separation will facilitate the location of a new insurance agency. The intent is to
"condominiumize" the property and have the parties share a common wall.
1. HWY 36 TAG 1 RESOLVE Process
SIG Consulting Group has sent the City various maps of the three Bridge Crossing Alternatives
B,C,E; and a map of a concept of a proposed drainage layout. Ali maps are posted in the hallway
here at the City Hall. Enclosed is their memo sent with such maps.
Mary McComber has provided:
a draft Agenda for the next RESOLV stakeholders meeting on 1/27/04.

Business Owners Group (BOG) pending questions for Oak Park Heights.
Also enclosed for your files is the information distributed last Thursday (1/15/04) at the Water
Resources (storm ponds and wetlands) meeting as held by SRF related to the Hwy 36/Bridge
project. It is my understanding that future meetings are to be scheduled.
2. Proposed Council Worksession
The Jan 27 date did not seem to be favorable for all council and necessary staff. Upon additional
communication Feb 4 2004 at 6:30 pm seems to be satisfactory - will be discussed at the
Council Meeting (1/27).
3. Coalition of Utility Cities
As promised, enclosed is the CUC summary report. The CUC will be meeting again on Feb5th,
2004 to again discuss options for the upcoming legislative session. I have enclosed an agenda.
4. Denny Hecker Auto - Former Amoco Site
The Council w ill b taking action on executing their cm? as th have not returned the "signed"
version. - See Consent Agenda. Staff thought it prudent to remind Mr. Hecker that the City has
placed other restrictions on his CUP and that we need appropriate compliance. See Mark
Vierlings letter as attached.
5. VSSA and McKean's Square.
Staff felt an early reminder was necessary to VS SA that they must install their sidewalks and
trails to condition as stated and approved by the City Council in 2003. Deviations are not
authorized.
