Oak Park Heights, MN 55082 Re: Damaged Trees,Compacted Waste Storage& R-O-W Mowing Dear Ms.Wright: This letter is to advise you of several items in need of attention to the outside area of the Wal-Mart business operation. First,as a follow up to your conversation with City Administrator Johnson last week,there are a number of trees within the fenced stormwater pond areas that have been blown over or damaged as a result of recent storms. These trees are to be removed and replaced by the end of this month. If you have any question regarding species or planting replacement, please contact Arborist Kathy Widin at the City. Wal-Mart s obligated to provide a one-to-one per-caliper inch replacement of these trees. Second,the grass area to the north end of your parking area, behind Applebee's restaurant and the east at the same area has not been regularly maintained. Please refer to the enclosed map and photo to reference the area.This area is a right-of-way,adjacent to your site and is required to be maintained by the property owner,which is Wal-Mart. Have this area mowed by the end of this month and regularly maintained from hereon. Lastly, I've noticed that the compacted paper/boxes to the west of the building are regularly sitting outside the enclosure it is to be placed within. All outside waste is to be kept within its trash enclosure. Please have this area cleaned up and the refuse material placed within the trash enclosure by the end of August. Direct your staff to continue to place the material within the enclosure for collection by your hauler. Your prompt attention is appreciated.
