Dear Ms. Hultman:
The Metropolitan Council Environmental Services (MCES) Division has determined the SAC to
be charged for the wastewater capacity demand for Noodles & Company to be located at
13301 N. 60th Street within the City of Oak Park Heights.
The City will be charged no SAC Units for this project, as determined below.
SAC Units
Charges:
110 new seats— 150 old seats (Camillies Café SAC paid 1/05) = no charge 0
The business information was provided to MCES by the applicant at this time. It is the City's
responsibility to substantiate the business use and size at the time of the final
inspection. If there is a change in use or size, a redetermination will need to be made. If

SAC is always calculated at maximum potential capacity. The calculations used for this restaurant were:
Bench seating: 21.67 ft/1.5'per seat = 14 seats
Counter seating: 18.17 ft/1.5 ft per seats = 12 seats
Fixed seating: 20 seats
Not fixed seating: 639 sq ft/15 sq ft per seat 43 seats (actual seals 40 so use the greater of the two)
Outdoor seating 320 sq. ft/15 sq ft per scat= 21 seats (actual seats 16 so use the greater of the two)

Can you provide me with the calculations for the Noodles SAC determination or explain how you came to 110
seats? Their plan set received at the City notes 95 seats and 147 occupants. Just trying to understand where 110 was
derived.
