We have reviewed the area of Os and Upper 56�' Street North per y our re The Council is correct in their concerns that the openin and/or closin of access points can precipitate chan in traffic characteristics at nei intersections. These chan can be hard to anticipate, which is wh it is premature to propose additional traffic control an alon CSAH 24 at this time. If the Cit determines that closure of the Oren Avenue mall access should be made, then Washin Count will closel monitor the area for additional traffic control needs. The installation of an additional traffic control on the Count Hi S includin stop conditions or traffic si poses a si dela to the travelin public. While we would co nsider all options available to maintain . a safe hi we do not install such devices without onsi proper justification. We believe it is reasonable to re the developer of an project to provide a traffic impact stud to help identif the potential traffic impacts caused b developer activities. This would help identif where diverted traffic ma g o and the results can be helpful when discussin the issue and solutions with local residents.
