Box 2007 Stillwater, MN 55082 Dear Lindy. ° As discussed, please find a copy of the Prosecution Criteria for Petty Misdcmeanor Moving Traffic Violations that we apply on behalf of the .City of Oak Park Heights. These fteria follow the criteria that have been previously established in Ramsey County. I supply you this information in light of the fact that there is a report by WCCO Television regarding continuances for dismissal in petty misdemeanor moving violations. I provide this information for you in case you have any inquiries by any members of your city council and or the general public. I These criteria have been implemented by our office in the past and we will continue to implement said policy into the future unless otherwise notified by you. No accident occurred in the charged incident; 2. No convictions for a moving traffic in the past three years app ear on the Defendants driving record; the charge and the Defendant a 3_ Defendant agrees and u dersta ds that p a conviction will be entered grees (with a suspended fine) in the event the agreement is violated; 4. The Defendant shall pay prosecution costs in an amount equal to the o fine and surcharges that would have been paid if a guilty plea had been entered; and 5. All prosecution costs will be paid at the time of the arraignment hearing. o 0 i
