Re: Temporary— Special Event Signage
Please be reminded that the suspension of special event permit requirements has ended. All
special event signs, such as the temporary signs that have been in placed at the Oak Park
Heights Wendy's storefront and drive-through, do require a special event permit prior to their
placement.
For the year 2014 business are permitted 50 special event days per the calendar year. The
permit, required by City Ordinance, continues to available at no charge. Signs placed without
permit are subject to citation.
A permit application has been enclosed for your use. Please feel free to copy it and fax or email
it to my attention, when you would like to obtain a special event permit. The form is also
available on the City webpage at www.cityofoakparkheights.com, along with Ordinance
401.15.G.8 regarding special event regulations.
Please remove any special event signs in place at your place of business no later than
Wednesday, January 15, 2014.
