You anticipated needing at least a couple of weeks to get the vehicles operable and/or moved from the site and were to touch base with me around January 6th regarding the status of this as well as the removal of the outside storage items. As of today, I have not heard back from you and have made a site visit to check on the status of things. I appreciate that it does appear that several of the vehicles have been moved; however there are roughly eight other vehicles at the rear that appear to in operable, most with expired tabs and there is an abundance of outside storage (boxes, equipment, parts) yet. All of the vehicles that are inoperable and without current tabs need to be brought into working order and provided with current tabs or removed from the site. Additionally all of the outside storage as described above it to be removed and disposed of or brought to the interior of the business warehouse as appropriate. At no time, is there to be outside storage at this business. If you need outside storage, you will need to see a conditional use permit to the site through the City's development process. I appreciate that we have had some weather conditions that have hampered your efforts in complying with the removal/relocation requests initially made to your business on December 13, 2013; however this is a matter that does need to be fully address and as such I am requesting that compliance be made in full on or prior to Friday, February 14, 2014. A compliance check will be made to verify compliance. In the event of non-compliance, this matter may be turned over to the Oak Park Heights Police Department for review and citation consideration. Please contact me if I can be of assistance. Your prompt attention is appreciated. Sincerely, Julie Itman, Building Official Plan •• & Code Enforcement pc: Will Zintl Tree City U.S.A.
