GRANTEE shall do all things necessary to complete the following tasks: _ Task Completion date 1. Hold a Community Energy Fair to raise the consciousness of the citizens of Oak Park Heights in 08/31/2010 regard to their energy use by: 1.1 Allocating staff and hiring and intern to organize Energy Fair vendors,and activities; and 1.2 Promoting Energy Fair throughout Oak Park Heights to recruit attendees;and 1.3 Purchasing CFLs to hand out to Energy Fair attendees. 1.4 Manage Energy Fair. 2. Review/Re Municipal Plan from a sustainability perspective by: 10/01/2010 2.1 Hiring consultants to review and identify opportunities to promote energy efficiency, transportation efficiency, and the reduction or conservation of other energy intensive activities. 2.2 Presentin_ fmdin.s and recommendations to the Oak Park Height's Cit Council. 3. Review/Revise Municipal Ordinances to identify any provisions that are inconsistent with broad 10/01/2010 adoption of appropriate energy efficiency and renewable energy development by: 3.1 Hiring consultants to review and identify opportunities to include energy efficiency and renewable energy technology in the municipal ordinances. 3.2 Presenting fmdings and recommendations to the Oak Park Height's City Council. 4. Perform energy audits of city facilities and operations by: 10/01/2010 4.1 Retaining a consultant to audit the new City Hall's commissioning,water utility facilities and operations, and other City facilities and operations. 4.2 Identifying potential actions to improve energy efficiency and performance. 5. Create/Manage plan and inventory of greenhouse gas emissions by: 10/01/2010 5.1 Performing a greenhouse gas inventory using 2008 as a base year. 5.2 Using consultants to formulate a greenhouse gas management plan consistent with the municipal master plan. 6. Invoice and reporting: 06/30/2012 6.1 Submit monthly project status reports and invoices to the State no later than 5 days after the end of each month. 6.2 Submit a final project report and invoice to the State upon completion of the project. 7. Upon City Council approval of Municipal Plan(Task 2)and Municipal Ordinances(Task 3) On Going continue to work with various stakeholders on updating related/appropriate documents. B. PROMOTIONAL MATERIALS All promotional and informational materials distributed by or for the Grantee shall contain the following statement: "This project was made possible by a grant from the U.S.Department of Energy and the Minnesota Department of Commerce through the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act of 2009 (ARRA),"unless this requirement is waived in writing by the State.
