As you may recall, Carbone's expanded its restaurant back in 2010 by adding a sports bar to it. The space was a 1,551 s.f. addition and by your audit added 43 seats which were calculated at 43/8 per Sac= 5.38 and given a credit of.53 (retail 1,511 s.f./3,000 s.f.) and ultimately they paid an additional 5 SAC unit charges. The space proposed to be incorporated to their sportsbar is 600 s.f., including a restroom. The 600 s.f space was a retail shop and is currently vacant. If viable they plan to remove the block wall between the two space from the bathroom to the storefront, remove the existing entry door and replace it with solid glass front and then alter their bar into a horseshoe shape (9 new non-fixed seats) and placing two tables to the far wall (8 new non-fixed seats). Overall 17 new non-fixed seats approximately 500 sq.feet of space. Can you please tell me what they could anticipate for SAC charge? They are to meet with management on Monday to discuss and if I could possibly get them a number today that would be way over the top helpful. My math doesn't make sense and since SAC units are not cheap, I want to be sure they are not surprised. If you would like to give me a jingle please do at 651.351.1661. Thanks!
