Dear Lindy:
Thanks for your letter of May 13, 1993 regarding the districts sharing the costs for
a police liaison officer with Oak Park Heights. It is agreed that:
• The district will support 40% of the salary, benefits, and agreed upon
expenses (excluding auto expenses) of a police liaison officer position for
a 9 month year. (Please provide me with the $ figure for budget
purposes.)
• A job description will be mutually developed with the high school
administration.
• Billing for the position may be made annually or semi annually by sending
an invoice to the Assistant Superintendent for Secondary Education,
Central Services Building, 1875 South Greeley Street, Stillwater,
Minnesota, 55082.
1 would appreciate you and Ken Anderson contacting Jon Swenson, Principal, or Bruce
Santerre, Assistant Principal, at the Senior High School to set up a mutually agreeable
time to meet and review expectations for the 1993 -94 schoolyear.

We will continue to contract with Stillwater for services to the elementary and
Stillwater Junior High School. Also, some cooperative service may be available in the
areas of sexual harassment, etc.
After meeting with the high school administration, please let me know if there are
further questions.
I look forward to working with you and Oak Park Heights in promoting a smooth
transition and operation in the district's new school environment.
