No new applications have been received. 2. The City has sought some additional information from the Roofing contractor at East Oaks-see Jim Butler's letter dated 12-3-09. 3. The City did avoid a jury trial with the violations at Tire Proz.The City did drop ��4h St _ * the ticket on the temporary signage, however Tire Proz must seek a Conditional use Permit for the exterior storage and/or bring the entire site into code compliance within 90 days otherwise the tickets become immediately due and are recorded as a misdemeanor and the site is subject to immediate further enforcement. City Hall Facility: I have enclosed Construction Meeting Minutes #9 for your files. Bids for asbestos abatement are due next week, relative to this I have asked that Mr. Engel again verify that it is the General Contractor's responsibility to remove all other equipment, lights, ballasts, mercury switches, etc from the building prior to demolition. In a follow-up conversation with Linner Electric, they are prepared to relocate the seven light poles for the City, but have indicated a desire to perform the underground work in Spring, citing that it is just too late to perform such work.This does not appear problematic from a timing or contractual standpoint.The City may award the contract as late as Jan 31St, 2009 and require completion within 120 days-roughly the end of May, based on the submitted prices. St.Croix River Crossing/ Bridge Project MNDOT has sent the City a communication indicating that it is seeking a representative from the City to serve on Water Quality Management Advisory Committee. I will be placing this item on the City Council agenda for 12/8/09 for a possible appointment should anyone be interested in serving. The City is asked to respond by Dec 18th, 2009. The following is a topic I would suggest we discuss at our work session;Ms. Molly Shodeen from the DNR has revoked MNDOT's permit to proceed with test piers in the St. Croix River due to the incorrect notices, being to the Stillwater, not Oak Park Heights.
