R e: Landscape Plan - Stillwater Ford, Lincoln, Mercur
I have reviewed the landscape plan subnitd for the addition to the Stif 1 lord
facility and have the following cornmenm
1. park2fic lot median plantings - f understand that some of these medians are being used to
direct flow, Ilowevei`, l would su ggest for ac-sthctics and the health of the pf a.no that
scyeral of these he united to mice a larger planting area. it looks very choppy ti ght now
with a number of smaller medians containing only shrubs.
2. building entrance - l would li to see a l arg c r, f andscapd green space i n front of the
building.
3 . plant species and sizes - the species are acceptable, being hardy, low maintenance and
relatively insect and discasc -frcu. Norway maple, does have son - Ic hardiness problems;
however the representation is low (3) and thi's spe cies does well on local roils and site
conditions. The plant sim conform to city zoning code.
4 . plan6ng detail - f would like to see the detai of planting on the plan and have faxed a
sam to M r., K16 0 .
